Dog Heart Check Panel
Heart strain and heart muscle markers with kidney and salt checks, for dogs with heart worries.
4 tests in one package · Sample: Serum or plasma
The Dog Heart Check Panel measures NT-proBNP, which shows strain on the heart, and troponin I, which shows injury to heart muscle. It adds electrolytes and a KFT because heart disease and its medicines can affect salts and kidneys. Blood tests do not replace an ECG or a heart scan, and a dog with breathing trouble or fainting needs a vet at once. A registered veterinarian reads the results together with the animal's signs and history.
