How It Works: From Booking to Report

Getting a test done at Pashupatinath Vet Lab takes five steps: book the test, get your animal ready, give the sample, let us test it, and share the report with your vet. The steps are the same for pet owners and farmers.

Step 1: Book a test

Choose the test or package your vet has advised, then book it on this website or call or WhatsApp us on +91 88175 01118. Packages, such as the Basic Health Panel for dogs and cats, group common tests together. If you are not sure which test is right, ask your vet first. The amount to pay is confirmed when you book.

Step 2: Get your animal ready

Do not stop food or water before the test unless your vet tells you to. Keep your animal calm, and keep any urine or stool sample fresh, clean and cool. Farmers testing several animals should tell us when booking.

Step 3: Give the sample

Anywhere in Bhopal, our collection executive visits your home, farm or clinic and collects the sample free of charge. You or your vet can also hand over a sample at our lab in Shahpura. Outside Bhopal, your local vet or clinic can send it by courier or bus parcel; call or WhatsApp us first.

Step 4: We test the sample

Every sample is labelled and checked when it reaches the lab. If a sample is not suitable, for example clotted or too small, we will ask for a fresh one. Routine tests are normally reported the same day or within 24 hours. For PCR, ELISA, culture, histopathology and other special tests, the reporting time is confirmed when you book.

Step 5: Get the report and talk to your vet

Your report is sent on WhatsApp or email and saved in My Reports in your account. Share it with your registered veterinarian, who will read it together with your animal's signs and history. Your vet may then choose treatment or further tests.
