Free Home Sample Collection in Bhopal

Pashupatinath Vet Lab collects animal samples free of charge anywhere in Bhopal, at your home, farm, dairy or clinic.

How do I book a collection?

Book on this website, or call or WhatsApp +91 88175 01118, and share:

• your name, phone number and address with a landmark
• your animal's species, name or ear-tag number, and age
• the tests your vet advised, or a photo of the vet's note

We will agree a time, but arrival times can change, so keep your phone on. Tell us if several animals need tests.

What should I keep ready?

• Do not stop food or water unless your vet tells you to; only some tests need fasting.
• Tell us about any medicines or recent vaccines, because some can affect results.

Keeping animals calm

Stress can change some results, such as blood sugar in cats, and a calm animal is safer to handle.

• Keep a dog on a leash, or a cat in a carrier or towel, with a family member it trusts.
• Tie a cow or buffalo in its usual shed or in shade, with its regular handler nearby.
• Warn us if your animal may bite or kick.

Urine, stool and milk

• Use a clean, dry container with a tight lid. Culture tests need a sterile (germ-free) container.
• Catch urine as your animal passes it, not from the floor.
• Take stool or dung from the top of a fresh pile, not mixed with soil.
• Keep samples cool, but do not freeze them.
• For a mastitis (udder infection) test, book the visit before milking, so milk can be taken from each teat.

What does the collection executive do?

The collection executive:

• checks your details and the tests booked
• collects the samples needed, such as blood in the correct tubes
• takes the urine or stool you have kept ready
• labels each sample on the spot
• packs them safely and brings them to our lab

How will I get the report?

Your report is sent on WhatsApp or email and saved in My Reports in your account. Routine tests are normally reported the same day or within 24 hours; for special tests, the reporting time is confirmed when you book. Share the report with your registered veterinarian, who will read it with your animal's signs and history.

What if I live outside Bhopal?

Home collection is only available within Bhopal. From elsewhere, your vet or clinic can send the sample by courier or bus parcel; call or WhatsApp us first.
