Dog Thyroid Check Panel
Dog-specific T4 and TSH with cholesterol and a CBC, for dogs that may have an under-active thyroid.
4 tests in one package · Sample: Serum + whole blood (EDTA)
The Dog Thyroid Check Panel measures canine T4 and canine TSH, tests built for dogs, together with cholesterol and a CBC. An under-active thyroid in dogs can cause weight gain, tiredness, a dull coat and skin problems, and it can raise cholesterol and cause mild anaemia. Illness and some medicines can lower T4, so your vet reads all results together. A registered veterinarian reads the results together with the animal's signs and history.
